魔女到底是怎样的人？
有什么力量？有什么思考？出自什么原因留下诅咒？自从去过魔女的房间后，我就一直调查。
不孕症的我。长生不老的奥尔托丹蒂。食慾等于无底洞的玛莉跟国王。魔女的诅咒，目前我只知道有四个人中标。如果是整个王国，一定有更多人吧。但小瓶子只有一个，不知道能不能重複用。小瓶子的製作方法先不管，为了解决这个国家的灾祸，我需要相关知识。
直接跟活了七百年的人打听是最好的，但奥尔托丹蒂不知为何，很不喜欢谈论关于魔女的事情。流传到今天的历史，写着魔女是害这个国家陷入混乱的坏人，奥尔托丹蒂则是拯救国家脱离混乱的救国女王。一定有什么複杂因缘吧。
在魔女的房间，也调查了很多。
书架上似乎有书本，纪录了魔法的使用方法。
最近我拿了出来。在教室、房间，整天都在看。魔法是可以实际运用的。延长食物保存的魔法。治好感冒的魔法。让牛奶更多的魔法……书里大半都是写着让生活更方便的魔法。
「考试才刚结束，金刚同学还是很认真念书呢。」
放学后我专心看书时，玛莉说话。
「难得妳都帮我补习了，如果成绩掉下来，不是太对不起妳了吗？」
「呵呵……如果能让金刚同学，对这个国家的历史有了兴趣，我也很高兴喔。」
玛莉优雅笑着，视线落在桌上打开的这本书──浮现讶异表情。
「金刚同学……您看得懂这些字吗？」
听到她说，我才发现到。魔法书上面写的，不是罗马文字，当然也不是日文。都是类似图形的记号，一堆看不懂的文字，但脑袋就是会莫名浮现翻译内容。因为太过自然了，我都没发现……
「魔女亲自写下来的这些文字。过了几百年，没有任何人看得懂了。所以也有后人伪造的一种说法……」
「但我看得很轻鬆，因为我是魔女后代的关係吧。」
瞬间，玛莉表情紧张。
